How Not to Write a Blog

Have you ever read how to write a blog?

Too easy isn’t?

Choose a subject, create a title, organise your content and you’re off.

Woops not quite.

Fine print.

Don’t over content!

Don’t bore!

Don’t use clichés!

Know who your audience is (well that’s a hard one-please let know if you’re reading this).

Use a template, sound intelligent and get proof read. Hmmmm on the last two.

Ever heard of The Naked Chef or The Bumbling Policeman? If I had a title it would be the Dyslexic poet, only that’s already taken.

Perhaps blogging is going to be harder than I thought. Bear with me on the spelling and the template. I find it hard enough to follow instructions as it is let alone putting them into the confines of the digital media.

I did some research on clichés, it took a while for me to find them but that was a spelling issue on my behalf not fact that they were hard to find, there’s a lot of information out there on the subject ranging from the top ten clichés to the 27 worst. I would dare to say it would be impossible to write anything these days without slipping in the odd one or two. And there you have it I’ve already used five without even trying. Woops there’s another.

I shall end here (before I become a bore) and leave you with the thought of how long does it take before an ordinary overused group words becomes a cliche?
