Car – well used – as used as a favourite soft toy unable to be extracted for a wash even after being vomited on.

Colour green – reminiscent of the underside of a fern tree on a winter’s day – complete with earthy- smell verging on the side of freshly dug manure.

nimbus car

Nimbus, created by Mitsubishi late last century and infrequently maintained as absolutely necessary.

One loving owner (and numerous previous unattached identities).

Dimensions -Seats seven (more under old law) can move an entire household of furniture in less than three loads including double bed, freezer and cubby house. (What doesn’t fit isn’t worth taking.)

Great for camping – roof rack and tow bar, suitable for trailer but useful for backing into walls, grills, fenders and fences.

Oozes character – easy to find in large carpark, easy to hear from a distance - (wine), whine in diff, slip in clutch and rattle in gearbox –possibly babies. One or two more dents would blend in easily with existing exterior making this a great buy for the maniac or absolute beginner.

Art work, (not an optional extra) includes small triangle etched on front guard, (commencement of a house) and signed S.T. as an original work; (artist has since become an architect). Yoghurt smudges attaching seat covers to backseat, clean me sculptured permanently in rear window and a V shaped scar in lining of roof made with an unexpected nail on the end of a four by two.

Wife only selling as husband holds unreasonable fears of catastrophic failure.

This vehicle has been consistently reliable and apart from odd flat battery @ 5am on a frosty morning, has never once let the owner down!

Also included, but not as tangible, five lifetimes of memories with no regrets, small sandpit packed around spare wheel and the remains of twelve removed hay bales. Plus a constant supply of fresh water if rain is approaching from a northerly direction.

Wife would like to include a complete set of steak knives with this purchase but two broke while adjusting radio and a third one opening the side window during a successful operation to extract a small child trapped inside car on a very hot day.

Bonus air-conditioning and easy access without key.

However, this car does have three keys, one with the car, one somewhere in campsite on Bruny Island and the other, with the clicky lock thing, in pieces at the bottom of Lego box.

Price is $1000 dollars with good rego and spare tyre.

Owner is prepared to negotiate if buyer is prepared to pay more..
